In today’s interconnected world, the aspiration to pursue higher education abroad has become increasingly prevalent among Bangladeshi students. The allure of international academic exposure, coupled with the promise of a better future, motivates thousands every year. However, the journey from aspiration to actualization is often riddled with obstacles—ranging from lack of proper guidance to procedural complexities that many students are ill-prepared to navigate.
completing postgraduate in English language & Literature, my own academic path helped me recognize the transformative power of education. Yet, it also opened my eyes to the systemic gaps that exist for students seeking opportunities beyond our borders. This realization led to the founding of CHS Education Ltd., a consultancy dedicated to guiding students through every step of their higher education journey abroad—not merely as clients, but as individuals with dreams deserving of strategic support.
Establishing a consultancy firm, however, was not a straightforward task. The entrepreneurial path demanded not only vision but resilience. From conducting extensive market research and building a competent team to navigating legal compliance, financial management, and establishing trust with students and parents—every step required commitment and conviction.
At CHS Education Ltd., we go far beyond university placements. Our mission is to offer a comprehensive, student-centric service model that includes academic counselling, institution selection, scholarship guidance, documentation support, visa application assistance, and mental preparation for life in a foreign country. Our goal is to ensure that students are not only admitted but also adequately equipped to thrive in their new academic and cultural environments.
Over time, our work has impacted hundreds of students across various regions of Bangladesh. We’ve helped them secure placements in top institutions across the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, and other destinations. Yet, the true reward lies not in numbers, but in the stories—stories of students who dared to dream and found their way with a little help from us.
Being an entrepreneur in the education sector is more than running a business—it’s about accountability. It means being responsible for shaping futures, providing reassurance to anxious parents, and contributing to a generation that’s more globally connected and academically empowered.
Entrepreneurship, particularly in Bangladesh, comes with its own set of cultural and structural challenges. Often, entrepreneurs face skepticism rather than support. While salaried professionals are readily celebrated, those who create employment and opportunities are frequently overlooked. This must change.
Recognizing and respecting entrepreneurs—especially those who work to elevate others—is crucial for a forward-thinking society. Let us value the ones who dare to solve problems, build systems, and create impact—not just for profit, but for purpose.
