Whitecliffe College, or Whitecliffe College of Arts and Design, is a private art school in Auckland, New Zealand. This institution was established in 1983 by Greg Whitecliffe and Michelle Whitecliffe. Following the death of Greg Whitecliffe, his wife Michelle Whitecliffe started leading this school, and subsequently, in 2017, the campus was reopened by the new ideal church of Scientology, and they currently operate it. Whitecliffe College currently has four schools: School of Fine Arts, School of Fashion + Sustainability, School of Design Innovation, School of Creative Arts Therapies, and School of Information Technology. This institution is also regarded as one of the highest-ranked and most awarded institutes in the private sector of New Zealand. The schools provide undergraduate and postgraduate courses of NZQF levels of 4-9 in fashion design, graphic design, photo media, fine arts, and others. Apart from it, the master’s programs of the college follow a low residency model and organise seminars of multiple duration in Auckland. These postgraduate courses are arranged in relatively minor groups like small lectures, group critiques, and one-on-one guidance, helping in better understanding. The programs here are taught by designers, artists, specialists and educators who are experts in their field. The course fee depends on the degree and subject of the program. Most courses usually range between NZD 12,000 to NZD 27,000 for the first year of study.
