Unitec Institute is New Zealand's largest institute of technology, with over 20,000 students studying over 150 work-oriented programs. The Unitec Institute has three campuses: its main one is in Mt. Albert, Auckland; its second campus is in Henderson, Waitakere; and its third campus is in Albany, North Shore. Unitec is the largest trade-training provider in New Zealand. It is the only institute that enables graduates to register with the Osteopathic Council of New Zealand to start practicing as an osteopath.
